When Tom Hiddleston wants to get some respect, he does get it.

He gets it by asking it gently, patiently and firmly… with a smile.

Watch the video, it is so sweet. Just after he’s calmed everybody down, a girl says “I’m sorry, I’m just so excited to see you” and his immediate response is to say that he’s very excited to see her/them too.
He’s just so patient with everyone, makes a couple of jokes (“okay, I’m signing my own ass here”) and seems to really appreciate every single fan.
He takes the initiative to put his arm around a shy-looking guy’s shoulders for a photo and suggests to two girls that he take the selfie because ‘he has longer arms’.
